Mother's Day gift wrapping ideas

If you could use one word to describe your mom, what would it be? Exceptional? Loving? Caring? It is hard to describe your mom in one word, right? All moms are one of a kind and amazing in their own way, and we’ll always love and appreciate them, no matter what.

So, why not make Mother’s Day extra special this year? When buying a gift for your mom, add a personal touch to your gift wrapping to show her just how much she means to you.

Word puzzle gift wrap

What you will need:

Step 1:

Go online and search for a word puzzle creator. When creating your word puzzle, type in a personal message of your choice, such as ‘Happy Mother’s Day’. After you’ve created your puzzle, copy it onto a Word document and highlight the special personal message in any colour you want, and print it.

Step 2:

When you have finished neatly wrapping your gift, you can start creating the gift tag! First you’ll have to cut out a photo of you and your mom, and stick it onto a piece of cardboard with some glue. Then, punch a hole into the top of the cardboard, slide a piece of twine through the hole, and tie the two ends into a knot. Voila! You’ve got a personalised gift tag!

Use initials as your gift wrap

What you will need:

Step 1:

Measure the amount of paper you need, cut it out and start stamping your mother’s initial on the paper! You could also rotate the stamp for a more attention-grabbing design. It’s your mom, so go that extra mile for her!

Step 2:

Wrap your gift after you’ve finished stamping. Next, cut a heart shape out of the extra paper, cover it with washi tape, and punch a hole in it. Then, slip a piece of twine through the hole of the heart-shaped paper and tie the twine around the package to finish decorating your gift. It’s so easy, right? This is great for last-minute gift wrapping! You can do it in ten minutes!

No matter what you’ve decided to get your mom for Mother’s Day, there is no excuse to cover it with hideous wrapping paper.
