Mirror’s Edge Catalyst

Mirror’s Edge is a first-person, action-adventure platform game released in 2008 by Electronic Arts. The parkour-inspired gameplay was pretty unique at the time and garnered a lot of praise for the game.

2016 Mirror’s Edge Catalyst is a reboot for the franchise, expanding on the parkour mechanics and tweaking other aspects of the gameplay, like combat. It’s out in June on all platforms and is shaping up to be a lot of fun.

Overwatch, a multiplayer first-person shooter game, is the latest offering from the genius developer and publisher, Blizzard Entertainment. You can choose from a whole cast of heroes with unique abilities – you are then divided into two teams consisting of six players each, who wage war on each other in various modes. The emphasis is on cooperative play between different character types, and it really pays off to be a team player in this game. Overwatch was released in May to wide critical acclaim and is an absolute must-have for any gamer out there.

Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens

If you love Lego and Star Wars, you’ll love this 5th entry in the Lego Star Wars Series. TT Games has mastered the art of combining the yellow block characters with the epic scope of the Star Wars Universe, so you know you’re in for a good time with this one. As you could guess from the game’s title, it is an adaptation of the 7th film in the Star Wars franchise. Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens will be released on the 28th of June 2016 on all platforms.
